Hello everyone I'm farely new to car audio. I have two 10" alpine type-rs (swr-1041d making them the old ones ), two mono block visonik 350watt amps, and a 2000 silverado. i'm used to the big boom from my ported enclosure that i bought for my subs in my suburban which i traded in for a silverado. i have to decide now if i should build my own box or buy a pre fab one. the box for the silverado looked a bit difficult to me since i have never built a box before, so i'm sort of leaning towards buying one. so if i bought one it needed to be ported. i found a guy making boxes on
ebay and he told me he can make me one of these:

( he would cut the baffles round and not square, and build it specifaically for my subs instead. )
sooo would it be worth paying so much for that box? i've fabricated my own computer case out of mdf, and i have built a 3 story guinea pig house for my girlfriends guinea pigs... i'm just not sure if i will be able to build a box.
