Help decide on Deep cycle battery-Kinetik vs SVR

you have a few different options. when it comes to batteries (ill get shot for saying this but o well) a power cell is just a fancy word for battery (couple folks that work with me hate me saying that but when people ask they think its an audio only thing) anotherthing is EVERYONE rates their product different. with what you have i would go with an 1800-2400. you have a good alt so i would tend to say a little smaller of a battery isnt going to kill you (unless you want need a ton of key off reserve or want to belch it) and adding a 600 or an 800 later in back if needed is always a nice option but ISNT always needed. march 2006 issue of Sport Truck has atleast 3 trucks in it with kinetik powering everything from the truck to hydrolics to some really outragous systems. also realise as far as power goes for your system there isnt anything wrong with having too much really its when you dont have enough thatlittle things start to happen for the worse

Thanks for the advice all

OK, I can definitely fit the hc1800 but who has one for sale? Where can I get one for under $200. I know I can get the 2400 for $200 slightly used but it won't fit in the stock location.

hmmm, yeah, I guess that is an idea. For some reason I thought I needed one upfront to run the rest of the car.
Not as long as you wire up that 2400 to your car's electrical system like you normally would.

People do it all the time in street rods/rice rockets/etc. Put the main battery in back to balance weight better and such.
