Help decide on Deep cycle battery-Kinetik vs SVR

Hi all,

My battery is just about dead. I have a VGA600.2 and 1600.2 and I think my system calls for a Kinetik hc2400 but that sucker is big and the only place I could fit it would be in the trunk. then I would need to buy another battery to run the rest of the car. So it wouldn't be too cost effective. I found a used hc2400 one for around $200.

I spoke with Gus at Ohio Generators and he recommended Kinetik and Westco SVR. Anyone ever use SVR batteries?

My stock demensions are around 10 L x 6.5 w x 9.5 d so the biggest SVR that will fit is the SVR80-12

How do these specs look for my system? and compared to the hc2400. Seems like they are significantly lower on the CCA. But they are alot cheaper!!

Thanks

Jordan

Yes you can. I currently have a Kinetik HC2400 under the hood and an Optima D31 in the rear. They are wired in parallel...funny enough.

Cmon, wire them in series. Your amps can handle 24v, honest. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I'm with InhumanAcura, the used HC2400 sounds like a nice deal at $200.
