Well, i got a new iPod for Christmas, and got to looking on how to mount it in my Grand Cherokee. I looked on some website that had a mounting bracket like this one that they wanted around $30 for. I decided i would make my own. It utrned out pretty nice. It is right by the radio and up high enough to allow opperating it while driving somewhat safe. All it is is a piece of sheetmetal cut and bent. It is connected behind the vent molding and looks pretty factory. I need to grind those screws shorter sometime, but have just been too busy. Give me some HONEST feedback.

Clean look.

Swivil mount, nice!

How its connected. Held down by one radio screw and one additional screw and radio pin thing.

ProClip iPod Video 30g holder, very nice. The Screws aren't as noticable in person, the camera brings them out.

aside for the huge ugly white ipod thing hanging off the bottom //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

it looks good. looks just like the "braketron" for satalite radios i used to install at circuit city...

hah, nvm, im a dumbass. I thought you made the whole clip then covered the sheet metal part that attaches to the ipod with something. i thought you just had amazing sheet metal skills.

guess i should have looked at the pics bigger. w/e. still looks nice tho.

Same thing I thought, I was amazed by how good you did. Still looks excellent and seamless.

Yea, im not to fond of the white conector either. The only reason i got it is because it allows me to charge the iPod while having it connected to the HU, kinda like the dock station. Its also pretty good because i can take the conector off and use it on any other HU/home theatre system/stereo by using a spare mini-jack to RCA cable i have. I actually thought about painting it, but havnt put enough effort into it yet.
