I d/l'ed a movie in a tcf format...I've d/l'ed .rar formats and used WinRAR to convert to a divx format, but can't seem to do it with this...anyone know how to convert it to a viewable format?

P.S.- if you can help me, explain it to me like you would to a 10 year old child with a slight mental retardation. I'm not exactly bright with computers.

First I just want to state that you need to be more careful in your wording.

I think what you are trying to say is that before, you downloaded a .rar file that contained a divx video, correct (.rar and .zip are files that combine multiple files into one, and also uses compression). So what this means is that you can't convert a .rar to a divx, as a .rar is just a compressed flie containing your DIVX video file.

I'm not familiar with the .tcf extension. After doing a quick google search, I came up with the following (this refers to a trojan scanning program called trojanhunter):

It adds the extension .tcf to the file (example: Trojan.exe.tcf). This neutralizes the offending file.

This means that your video file was probably at one point infected with a trojan horse virus, and you are probably better off just deleting and downloading from someone else.
