Hey everyone, I haven't dealt with stock audio before thats why i am in need of some help. I was wondering, where is the best place to connect the LOC to the speaker wire? any suggestions would be nice. Thanks
Wherever it's easiest to get to. Doing it behind the head unit is common because you can always find speaker wires there; there's usually extra room there to place the LOC and the RCA will already be in place if you decide to put a new head unit in later. If you catch your speaker wires in the trunk, though, you can use a shorter RCA cable.
I would just put the LOC behind the factory head unit, that way if you get a new deck in the future you can have the RCA already there to hook up to the new deck. To get you started on the right way, here are the colors for the rear speaker leads:
Left Rear + is Black
Left Rear - is Yellow
Right Rear + is Red
Right Rear - is White
have fun! (I was assuming that this is for adding a sub amp?)
