just curious which you guys would advise to use on an sx 15 in a 4 cube box... i have the cc-d right now, and it pushes the hell out of it, BUT i can't be sure it's clean power or not... i heard it was underrated because it's measured at 12.5v... but at a hair over the correct gain setting the clip light comes on when deep bass hits... the sub pops sometimes (only on deep bass notes with the my sub out one interval higher), either from a clipped signal or too much power.. which do you think it is? and do you think i should upgrade to an a2400 to be sure it's getting clean power?

thanks guys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Sounds like you're subsonic filter needs to be bumped up a little, turn you're subsonic filter to its highest frequency, then play a 20hz test tone at full blast, then start reducing the frequency of the subsonic filter untill the subs start getting "ugly" then leave it there, this will cut back alot of clipping and distortion under the sub box tuning frequency. This is what I did with that very same amp to cure the same problem with 2 Pioneer 2000SPL's in a ported box..
