Ok,as some of you may or may not know,Im going for more of a sound quality set up.I have a 2007 dodge Quad cab...I have opted to go with Boston Acoustic pro components. The problem I have is Im going to use a prefab box that fits under the back seat.About 1 cu.ft per chamber.I was originally going to use Alpine Type R 10" because I have a pair not being used(brand new).I figured that since they would be covered or under the seat, sound quality would be affected regardless of what sub I use. So,logically I thought they would be an ok choice...BUT now Im having second thoughts...what do you peeps think?I was thinking about Boston Acoustic 10"...not sure which models as I dont have listening experience with ANY NEWER model BA's.I have a 2 channel amp I will be using thats 1000 watts bridged(around about) or aproximate 475 x 2 @ 2 ohms...Its a Rockford Fosgate punch 150 limited edition 25 to life amp in case you were wondering.Any recommendations?

I really dont have any recomendations for any equipment but I can add this.I had an 07 Dodge QC and I used the under the seat prefab box, you'll be a little disappointed.I know you dont have much to work with, but those spaces are very small.I had 2 Infinity 10's and a MTX 600 watt amp.It sounded good but nothing earth shattering.

Do yourself a favor and go on Ebay and search for "foxbox".They cost 175.00 shipped, but they are supposed to be the best sounding boxes you can get.Do a search and you'll see what Im talking about. The wood prefabs pretty much ****.Trust me on this.

Yeah I figured as much...I believe the one Im looking at is a foxbox...I do know its high grade covered in that rhino coat and its 1 cu.ft per chamber as where most cheapys were .55 to .68cu.ft and it runs $199...I could go console style in back

i agree with getting someone to build u a custom box

i like the fi q's or the image dynamics for sq

ive also heard the sound splinters sound nice

i think there are lots of choice out there for u , but it will ultimately come down to install and tuning

be patient when choosing ur box it can make all the difference

what headunit r u using
