I have 75 watts @ 4 ohms to give to a component set. Im trying to only spend 250 on a good pair. I want good midbass but most important best all around sound. Not looking to set any DB records off the mids so I mainly want them to sound good and keep up with a 12 inch sub in a 2.0-2.5 cuft @ 34 hz with 1200 watts. Let me know what you guys think.

JL XRs can be had for around that price and they are fantastic components
I second on that. Got a set of these in my car powered by a JBL amp at 105rms. These things pound with precision and clarity. Quality speakers well worth the price.

Not at all, amplifiers have gain control to attenuate the output to safe levels.

I've moved this post to installations. Can't work out how to delete it here.
