Help choosing between two

Well, for my first subs i was thinking about this-

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_14672_Kicker+07DCVR122+%2B+Kicker+08ZX400.1.html

This is a package deal with the 2 kicker subs and a kicker amp that is 400 RMS at 2 OMH (which is what the subs are wired to)

Or i could buy the amp and subs seperately.

ive narrowed that option down to this-

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17801_Eclipse+XA1200.html

and

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8372_Kicker+DCVR122.html

which would be cheaper, and the amp says 600 RMS at 2 OMH, while buying the same two kicker subs.

Which would you choose and why?

Also, the second link ^ says the subs are 800 RMS, while the first says 600.

Which is correct, because they are the same subs.

Ive already decidied on those subs for the most part.

this is my first system and i dont know what i like and all and ive herd some decnt things about those. They will do all i want, so ill be happy with them.

Well then. I guess I'll explain WHY the two choices you listed ****.

Choice #1:

Pre-fab enclosures ****.

The Kicker amplifier that's part of the package deal isn't nearly powerful enough for both subs.

It's not a good price.

Choice #2:

Once again, pre-fab enclosures ****.

You can buy Kicker CVR's for far less money.

The Eclipse amplifier is a good deal, but the Kickers could use more power.

As I said originally; I'd keep looking if I were you...

EDIT: The 12" Kicker CVR is rated @ 400 watts rms.

the eclipse amp is garbage imo the 400.1 is not enough juice either. the box deal is actually not a bad price at all especially with free shipping! the subs are dvc and 400 rms each so you need 800 rms at 2 ohm for that box to do them justice. whicjh means 1400-1600 rms at 1 ohm.

for the amp i can get you into a mbquart amp that will be awesome for them but you gotta spend money. 240 shipped for 1500 rms at 1 ohm. 1000 rms at 2 ohms

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif Crutchfield has a buy one get one free deal on CVRs right now for $150 shipped, and it still isn't the best price around.

Pre-fab enclosures, as a rule, ****. But if you must have one, you could pay less than $100 at pretty much any car audio shop.

Here's a $132 MB Quart amplifier that would power a pair of dual 2 ohm CVR's nicely: http://www.vminnovations.com/product_1231/MB_QUART_DSC4125_1000W_4_Channel_Amplifier.html

Also i wont be installing myself, so would i be better off just going into a shop and having somebody help me?
If this is your 1st system, you might want to take it somewhere, or find a buddy who can help you out.

But, if you're like me, you'll want to do it yourself. It's why I find car audio to be any fun. Plus, it's the best way to learn.

I would love to do it myself and all, but my parents wont let me try to lol.

so i guess for now ill just leave it to the guys at car toys or something.

Are they generally good?

Also, would i really need 2 12's?

I have alot of trunk space, at least i think so.

It will be ported just for volumes sake as well.

Do you think i should stick with 2 12's or maybe only just one?

Or maybe just one 15" ? but iv never seen a 15 inch sub with a box too (like a package deal)
