Am pretty new to car audio so please dont laugh at my questions //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

They are 70w rms each so i need a 4x70w amp right? Well I found this one which is 75wx4...

Would the extra 5w per channel damage my components? I am currently using a shark amp I got for £30 at my local electronics store so would upgrading my amp make a big change in the way my speakers sound?

If somone doesnt think this amp would be right could someone please recomend another one?

Also would I wire it normaly like each crossover to it own channel on the amp or shld i do something like the bridging I did with my sub?

Any help is greatly apreciated //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

congrats on buying the comps

not laughing at your question

5 watts isin't going to hurt it

i never heard of a shark amp, im pretty sure the alpine amp would be better

tho as alpine has pretty good quality amps from the setups i've heard

good choice on comps and amp, it'll do just fine

wire it normally, don't bridge it as that would give you more power and

possibly blow the crossovers and/or comps besides that your going to

need the other channels for the rear comps you have listed in your sig

your welcome

A 2 channel amp would be fine, unless you want to run an active setup.

Either way, Id recommend a ED 9.4, $235 with a three year warranty. Also, you can use the system builder discount, to get 15% off your order.

Hes got 2 sets of components, thus a 4ch would be optimal....

Indeed i gotta have some rear fill or my poor passangers just get bass and on long journeys head aches lol.

Well thanks for the help think ile just go with the alpine amp then.

Yeh not many people have heard of shark they make realy realy realy cheap car aduio stuff here in the UK so am hoping by changing to this alpine amp it shld improve my quality a fair bit.

Now ive realised I cant fit my comps in the rear mounts so am gunna give fiberglassing my own enclosures a go this shld be funny, will post pics soon. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
