Help choose my next setup:(4) 18's- Ported Clamshell or 4th order?

Just want some opinions from you guys on what route I should go with my next setup for the Summer . I have 34 Cu/ft to work with . Tuning low . I Like the idea of a ported clamshell, fairly easy to design and build, will look pleasing to the eye -or- A 4th order bandpass. A bit harder to design but efficient if done properly. Just looking to get a tad bit louder then my current setup . Input and other suggestions are welcomed . Thanks guys

you dont have enough room to build and properly tune a 4th order...better stick with the ported clamshell

What degree you looking at on the clamshell?

Hmm, yea thats what I was worried about , not having enough room to build a sufficient 4th order .. As for the degree of the clam it would have to be around 45 degrees in order to build a proper size port . I dont have that much height being that this is for a Jeep Cherokee . I will be doing some more measuring to see what else I can come up with .

Good space for 4 15's 4th order. I said 4th before I noticed they were 18's.

Clammy or just a nice ported box for 4 18's.

Hmm ... See I would be able to do (3) 18's in a subs up/port back but this gives me issues with my amp situation . I would go with (4)15's but I would like to use the 18's that I already have . They are still fairly new . I wish I can do (4) 18's in a subs up / port back but I just dont have the length to do so in order to achieve the correct cu/ft . Im almost leaning towards building an extremely effecient 4th order for the (2) 18's I have at the moment or a Clam for (4) of them ..

I think BL's are better suited for ported than 4th order.

I think you could get away with 4 18" BL's in 30 cubes at 30Hz with about 6000w.

The ports would not displace much if you used four 6"ers.
