Help choose amp

Hi, It my first time posting and I need your help. Which amp is go with my speaker and sub. I have two old Infinity Kappa 63.5i and one 10" Basooka EL1004. The speaker rated 75 rms w/max 225 w, sub is 50-180 watt rms max power is 250 watts. Do I need two amp, one for speaker or one for the sub, Can I use just one 4 chanel amp? I just want a clean, smooth sound. And I will installed on my 2008 I4 accord ex sedan

I have the old amp it Kenwood KAC-820....

good 4 channel, bridge the rears to the sub. later you can bridge to 2 channels for some better comps, if you upgrade.

If your gonna spend money like that you should start from the ground up.

Then what brand of 4 channel amp should I buy, I don't really like the kenwood amp KAC-820 that I have. If I buy it used should I buy jl 500/5.

Elemental Designs NiNe.5. They are being discontinued soon, scoop one up while you can. Decent price for an all-in-one amp. Power your speakers and sub all from the same unit.

I'd stay away from the PDX, I hear they aren't serviceable should it's warranty expire and you need it repaired, you can't get it repaired. Something about mosfet drivers in-layed into the PCB layers (sandwiched between)... Cheap *** idea, bad idea in the long run.

JL amps are great amps. I think the / series are the best, the E series are okay, but I think are considerably cheaper built. If you have room, get a Sundown SAX-100.4. Powerful, but kinda large physically, make sure you have room.

For 5 channels Memphis Belle is okay. I haven't really seen a five channel I like. I haven't seen the Nine.5, need to look into that one.

I will buy the ed Nine.5 $350, what wire amp kits should I buy, I will have the shope installed.

Is jl 500/5 used for $326 shipped or new ed Nine.5 $350 shipped? which one?

If you ever want to upgrade your sub stage you will be stuck with the 600 watts off of the nine.5.

If you grab something like the saz 100.4 you can bridge it later(or run active) to some good comps and pick up a saz 1500 for sub amp. Thats what I would do. all sold out for good reason.
