Help CD Player stop working

While I was driving my CD player just cut off and wont turn on. when ever I turn my car off and remove the faceplate the CD player security light flashes, which causes me to believe that it is getting power. This isnt the first this happened either. The other times it happened the cd player stopped working for a while then eventually turned on days/weeks later.

Can anyone help me with this.

btw, the cd player is a old kenwood mp3 cd player.

Have you checked to make sure all the wires are connected/your grounds are good?

I plan on pulling it out tomorrow, but I used a direct connect harness, so there was no splicing. also, the security light still flashes/

hey i used to live in west palm, in society hill townhouses....

but anyways your gonna have to learn it who's boss with a hammer and a swinging motion twords the front of the headunit

check all your wires, and the fuse on the back
