Help buying a DVD receiver?

im likely getting this.....doesnt seem like garbage to me.Brand New 2013 Pioneer AVH X4500BT 2 DIN DVD iPod iPhone USB Bluetooth RCVR | eBay

good choice but they are selling at dealer cost ,so you might wanna call first and ask some questions .just cover your bases

ok, and would you happen to know exact speaker sizes for an 03 cts. non bose. cant seem to find a solid answer. what i found was front door 6.5, rear door 5.25 and some say rear door 6.5. im guessing it has a 9 or 10" sub in rear deck. also are the pillar tweets replaceable without losing the covers? sorry op for jumping in but in kinda the same boat as you and check out the link i gave to the pioneer. seems like the best deal around as far as i have found.

np, I looked at the Pioneer AVH X4500BTI just cant see getting one that doesn't have navigation, for the same money as one with navigation. unless there is something bad about the Jensen?

the jensen is a pos op the components are ok but the speakers arent that good ,the amp is flee market crap.

How much are we talking to get a decent quality receiver/amp/component set? I don't think the budget can go much past that point.

thanks bud. hope my os phoenix gold zero point mids fit and got a set of os gefco hart professional 5.25s i can throw in the rear doors. thinking of trying a pro audio midbass in the sub location with a baffle run at about 40hz to 3-500hz. should give me loads of midbass and as long as i keep it under 500hz it shouldnt pull from front stage.

Yeah, that pioneer is the other receiver that I have been comparing to. Those components and amp are way out of budget though.

yes they would work off of deck power to , you still never said your budget .these prices are from me and full warranty in effect as well ,and shipped .

I don't actually have a "budget", just want to be able to get the best bang for the buck.

surely the power acoustik amp would have to be better than just running it off the deck though.

maybe , but i'd save that cash and get more for a better amp thats more reliable ,the pa amp may not last long

the jvc with also the same idea as it is also navigation ready down the road. with 4v pre outs which is really nice

As for the Clarion and JVC receivers that were posted. They look like they would be inferior to the pioneer 2400BT. Which is the option for non-nav Receiver atm.

i have a bnib eclipse 3520 that would be a nice lil amp for your comps. i could hook ya up for $65 shipped on the amp. this and the infinity comps would be a total of $165 to your door. probably best bang for the buck you will find bro. i have a set of ref 6.5" comps i ran and liked them.... or for even less grab the phoenix gold rsd's and total would be $142
