Help burning an image

I downloaded an image of winows xp. The zip file contains a .cd, .img, and .sub files. I am wondering how I burn this to make a bootable disc. I tried to go through nero and burn a bootable disc but it didnt work. Any other suggestions? IM trying to download clonecd but looking to see if there are any other suggestions.
