HELP!!!! Boston Acoustics AMP Bypass

I am trying to install my Focals in my front doors, I was going to run them off deck power for a little bit, but cant seem to get them to power up through the factory Boston amp. I drive a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo w/ BA upgrade. Is there a way to bypass @ the amp, or am I going to have to run all new wires from deck to speaker? Please help!!

factory or aftermarket head unit?

are you sure the factory amp has a turn-on signal?
