Help...been out of the game to long

So I just bought 2 JL10TW3-4 and a Kenwood 9106D amp. I have it wired up on a 4ohm load and they just don't sound right to me. I took one of the subs and wired it to a 2ohm load and it pounds. Is there any reason i cant wire the other sub up the same way? The amp is a mono amp with 4 speaker terminals that are hooked internally?

i am guessing you wired a coil out of phase, which would be problematic and cause cancellations.

I wired it up like this. It acts like the amp is not giving the subs enough juice.

look up what out of phase means and what phase cancellation is. Your subs are fighting each other basically killing all your output. Its not because they arent getting power.
