Help! BAMF 4000/1D{30th Aniversary edition} powered by 115-120V AC_ input to 12.0-13.4 Volt 600w 38amp output ATX power supply turns on and immediatly protection light & off. fuses good, nothing visually burnt...I was previously using a 1500w pioneer to power 2 oldschool punch 12"s from My ONKYO TX-NR808 subwoofer pre-out, but they wanted more power. My Pioneer isn't a digital amp, could this be the problem? I know this is not your average type of question, but Mad Scientist innovation {rigging} is kinda my thing.......I have far more unusual than this. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried connecting the amp to a car battery? No subs, just power. If it protects, amp is bad. If no protect, subs/wiring or ATX power supply is bad.
