car amp

I have an amp and subs in my car. The amp power light blinks and subs stop working and it goes in and out when music is played. I made sure all the connections were solid, Checked fuses. Not sure where to go from here! Any recommendations?

I read a thread like this just a little bit ago, but I wanted to start my own because my situation entails a few unique problems. I read that to install a quick kill switch for the amp, I would hook the switch to the blue 12v REM wire that comes from my HU and tells my amp to turn on or off...

I am looking at getting a 4-channel amp and the MB Quart NAU 460 in my car. This product is listed as a marine amp and I'm wondering if it will work properly in a car. I would just get the MB Quart ONX4.60 but it sells for $20 more. Thank for your help.
