Help avoid damage please.

Yea, just bought 2 10 inch 300 rms 600 max Hollywood subs.

I also have an old speaker box that holds 2 10" subs. Each speaker has its own sealed off space and at the back theres a hole cut at the top.

I was wondering if my subs would sustain damage if I use this box or if I should cover up the holes to make it a sealed box.

Also, the box is two cubic feet big, one cubic foot per sub.
