Help! Audiovox FM Modulator in 2003 Focus

I need someone's help badly.

I have a 2003 2 door Ford Focus Hatchback. My goal is to be able to play my iPod through my stock car stereo sysem without using an FM radio transmitter....all the static would drive me crazy.

i have found that the Audiovox FFM100A FM Modulator would be the best bet.

However, at the above address, I think I am going to need one of the 2 antenna adapters listed at the bottom, but I have no idea which one. Either:

The Metra 40-GM10 Antenna Adapter

or

The Metra 40-GM21 Antenna Adapter.

Does anyone have any input for me? I leave for for my fall semester at college in 3 weeks and i'd really like to get everything done by then.

my 06 zx3 has a regular antenna and would not need any adapter...im thinking your 03 would as well... you could just take the deck out and look...

But I was looking around the net and found this:

If I read it correctly, this guy had a 2003 Focus SE Sedan and he needed a antenna connector.

Since I'm limited on time...I just wanted to make sure I didn't order anything extra, or I wanted to make sure I ordered everything I needed in one order.

I'll check back on this tomorrow and see if anyone else left anything.

According to my Metra book your 2003 Ford focus requires a 40VW10 and a 40VW20 for the installation of a wired FM modulator with your factory radio.

I use the Audiovox FMM100 all the time here at the shop, and it's quite a user friendly unit. Good luck with your install, if you need wire colors or something either post here or PM me and I will retrieve them for you.
