Broken amps are a crap-shoot... If you yourself are knowledgeable about repairs of amps or know someone who is, it might be worth a look, but if not IDK then cuz labor is very expensive and who knows what parts it would need on top of that...

contact the guy, ask him what happened, how did it break and have him open it up and take a picture of the guts and post some picts, take some highlight pictures of the burnt/broken parts. If he ask why, just say you know a guy that can repair and need pics for a quote.
