Help Asap

Exactly how is your rear bat and amp grounded? The fact that you ran a ground from front bat to back bat and everything worked fine indicates you probably have your rear grounded incorrectly.
Give details on ground path (from what to what) and guage size.
I actually have the power from front to back in 0gauge fused at both ends. Rear bat is grounded to a good spot in 4gauge (I didn't have any 0gauge ground cable). Would 0gauge power wire work fine as a ground too? I really think somethings up with my ground but when I hooked up the amp directly to the power, ground, and remoter wire coming from the HU it worked fine. I mounted everything and had to use a longer 4gauge ground from the bat to reach the amp and I used 0gauge power wire from the rear bat to a distro and from the distro to the amp in 4gauge.

use a dmm and check batery voltage, maybe the battery cell is burned/fvcked up. maybe your battery is at 10 volt wich is not good for amps
I'll have to get my friend to come over with a dmm and check that.

what is it grounded to and with what
did u try hooking a ground wire to rear battery from amp

also try the amp with just power, remote ground hooked up no speakers make sure there is not a short there
When I got the amp working the ground was directly from the amp to the battery ground.

I'll take out the speakers wires as soon as I get home. I'm pretty sure it'll be 1 of 2 things, either the battery ground or a short in the midbass speaker wires. I really hope it's not the rear battery ground or I'll be up again til 1am tearing everything out and re-installing it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

some Premier HUs have a Power /Ant which looks kind of like the amp remote wire....one has a strip the other does not,DOUBLE CHECK THAT.
Yeah, I made sure the HU was wired correctly, the only thing not wired in the back of the HU is the speaker wires (I ran all new speakers wires directly to amps in rear) and the yellow mute wire which the instructions said if I didn't have in my factory wiring to leave uncut.

i realy suggest you run a separete power source for all your amps and xover so they dont starv
I should be fine. My previous system was a RE MT 18" off a zx2500.1, germs comps on a zx650.4, germ midbass on a zx350.4, and a PPI dcx-730 processor and I got no dimming at all and now I'm going to run less power. The car audio shop ran my wiring like shit too.

I meant for the remote wire . I imagine you run 0 ga RIGHT!
My bad, I do have 0gauge. I'm going to try removing the speaker wires first, then try moving the remote, and if all else fails I'll try a different ground on the 2nd battery. I'll update what the problem was tomorrow.

Your ground wire needs to be the same size as your power wire, 0g. You asked if you could use your power 0g for your ground. Wire is wire, so yes, you can.

Are you able to give a description/diagram of exactly how you are running your power and your ground through your whole system. Your wiring is most likely your problem.

PROBLEM SOLVED....I troubleshooted the easier problems and it still not working so I had to take out one of the side panels to access my rear battery. I put a bigger ground wire on it put the battery, panel, box, and amps back in and it finally worked! Thanks for all the advice guys.
