HELP ASAP W/ Setup

I am trying to setup a system and know nothing about audio, i have 2 Volfenhag 12" 1000 watt max 500 rms, and i am getting a fosgate bd1500.1 amp, "Are tsunami wires good?", and should i get that amp for a setup at 2 ohms for 2 subs? Give me some feedback? I need it asap, cause the deal with the amp is going to happen tomorrow

aare the subs 4 ohm dvc? if they are...then you can only wire them 1 or 8 ohms....

You're going to blow those subs with that amp. What's the impedance on the subs and what's your price range for an amp?

I live in the city, about 20 minutes from the airport down 70 to 55... Thats the amp i am getting (Fosgate BD1500.1) Unless i cant use it, if i dont turn the subs all the way up i wont blow them right? Specs on the subs are BelowDoes that help? Is Tsunami Wiring any good?

man i agree with gauntlet. that amp is too much for those subs. either upgrade your subs or go with the bd 1000. and if i read that right, you are running two dual four ohm subs off a rockford amp which is not two ohm stable. your asking for trouble. i know guys that run rockfords at 1/2, but only at comps. daily driving you will be sorry. if you have the subs already you might look into another amp. everyone reading this, rockford is very popular hear in st. louis. as long as it says rockford, it is suppose to be good. that comment has nothing to do with you concept i just wanted to say it.

The problem is you have two dual 4 ohm subs. If you're wiring them to a mono load, you can only get 1 or 4 ohms, and RF's aren't stable at 1 ohm. What is your price range for an amp?

well, what amp would you guys suggest to push those subs at two ohm, or i have these subs two... but i was wanting to sell them, i guess i could just sell the volfenhags instead! Below is a add i had around, what do you think? Which should i use?

you cant run those subs are 2 ohms. If your subs were SVC than you could but with two DVC subs you can run them at 1, 4, or 8.

I have around 300$ for a amp, thats why i was going to buy that fosgate off of him, thats what he wanted... Give me a amp that would work perfect, name and model and i will see if we have it at work! And tell me what would be the best ohm operation to use for the volfenhags and the Audiobahns. I don't know much thats why i am asking, What do you think i should do? get the bd1500.1 w/ the audiobahns? Would that work, would it be powerful enough to even push two 1100 rms subs? No one knows if tsunami wiring is good? Thats what i can get from work. I AM NOT LOOKING FOR THE BEST System in the world, just a very nice system that can handle some intense bass...

Which subs would that be for? And what would you guys use for ohm set up on either of those subs? Wouldnt i need two of those amps to push both subs? It seems like a 1000w at 1 ohm would support just one of them, unless i guess you are figuring that they are 500rms subs and that would split 500wx1 ohm into two channels, is that how it works?

That amp was for your Volfenhags....if you wanted to push 1000 or so to each of those Audiobahns, you'd need a lot of $$, and a big *** alternator, and I'm not sure if you're ready for that kind of commitment....if you are, LMK and i'll try to help you as much as I can.

So that amp would be plenty for the volfenhags, it will push them hard enough, basically 500w to each sub at 1 ohm, do i need capacitors or anything? How is tsunmai wiring? IS IT ANY GOOD.? Also can you name any good mtx Amps that would work great for it? I GET THEM DISCOUNTED and i would probably save 100$ from one of those, so any good mtx amps that would work fine? Price doesnt matter b/c of discount...
