was changing a few things around with my system in my yukon that i drive like once evry 2months and left my interior lights on which drain and killed my battery under the hood. i have a hc2000 kinetik under the hood and an 1800 in the back. the back battery was hooked up. my question is how do i recharge a deep cycle battery? as it stands my second battery is good if i link themm parallel my yukon will start but will that just kill my second battery? whats the right way to recharge it? is there a special charger i need to purchase?

i would hook it up, and let the truck run for a while. the alt will charge it.

BTW, ALWAYS unhook batteries when doing ANYTHING with your system (other than setting gains). i've seen a lot of amps die like that

i hooked the second battery up just to start then disconnected the second battery so my main bat would recharge. i let it run for about 20min. turn it off and found the battery still dead

hook up both. they should level out. or get a trickle charger and set it to deep cycle

You should be able to get a normal battery charger and set it to deep cycle.

they mean set it to 12v's @ 2amp or 5amp charge rate...
