Help ASAP!!! Eclipse 8455 Headunit

I'm was trying to install this headunit last night, when I realized the ground wire is missing from the hu harness. Does anybody know which spot on the harness it is supposed to go in? I have the manual, but it doesn't have a detailed schematic of the harness.

i bought a hu with the same thing... just ground it directly to it's chassis, like i did with this head unit:

i screwed a black wire on the back of it...

I tried it and it didn't work. I've never owned an Eclipse hu before, does anybody know if there's something I may be doing wrong? I'm connecting the red wire to ignition (red), yellow to constant (yellow), and black to ground.

well, it should be working... try connecting both red and yellow to the positive of the battery...

If you hooked it up as described and got nothing, then the unit is screwed. To me it sounds like the unit has been stolen due to the missing wire in the harness and it not operating. Where did you buy it from, post the serial # on it and I will run it to find out if it is stolen or not.

Not reported as stolen. Also, the ground is supposed to be in pin 1. I'll let ya'll know how it turns out. I'm not overly optimistic at this point. I very well may return it to the guy I bought it from.
