Help! Anyone know what this component is for? (pic included)

Hello. I recently bought this d6 1000.1 amplifier from a seller on Ebay and upon arrival it didn't have any sound coming out of it. I got a very good deal on it so i decided to open it up and see if there was anything visibly wrong with the insides. Anyways, I notice this wire that i'm pointing to in the picture has come loose from it's solder. I'm very very novice at electronic repair so i was wondering if anyone would know what this wire is there for and if that is likely to be the sole cause of my problem or not. If this is all i need to do i'd love to just solder it and keep the amplifier. Thank you for any help.

Thanks Grinder it's nice to know it's an output coil. Just a quick fix of that should get her working. Time to get to soldering:)
That might not be the only thing wrong with it....usually one one piece breaks it takes other things with it, you might get lucky though.

Well i got the board off and was able to pull the solder and put the coil back in and solder it into place. Turned it on and Bamo! it works like new. Thanks to all who helped with their posts instead of posting some lame reference to a song or something like that:D
