Help answering a question!

Hello everyone! I'm new here. I hate to start out by asking a question but I need some help. One of my local car audio shops has the Pioneer DEQ-P7000 DSP unit for sale for $150! I want to purchase this but I don't know if it will work with my headunit. I have the Pioneer AVH-P4100DVD. I've called Pioneer and couldn't get a straight answer from them nor from the dealer selling it. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you!
