Help and Advice please

i see, and whats corner loading reflection?

and with the 12" i suggested, it would be 750 rms, and the amp is 1000 at 2 ohms, and 500 at 4ohms, so if i wire it parallel, it will do 1000? and series would be 500?

Yes, with a dual 4 ohm sub that would be right.

Im not familiar with corner loading reflection. Maybe that is when you put a home sub in the corner and use the corner for loading and what have you.

Corner load, hatch load, etc....... the use of the glass (in your case) to reflect sound which generally brings you up about 3db.

hmmm, but would that sub be able to take more then 750 rms?
If you want louder buy louder lol, Sometimes I run 3 times the rms to my subs, but its only for about 2 seconds.

Subs have a mechanical capacity and a thermal capacity. As you get in to it you will figure ore stuff like that out.

Ahh, If you have a hatchback maybe try a crx box, Sub up port back.
no idea what any of that means, i dont know much about boxes at all, the one i would use was already in teh car when i bought it, i can take a picture if you want

for any amp, if the wattage at 4-ohms isn't listed, is it always half of the wattage at 2 ohms?

Maybe make a post on what exactly you want out of your system, With a budget and what kind of car with what kind of electrical upgrades you are willing to do.

There are guys here that know 50 times more than I do that can probably get you to where you would be even happier than with the way you want to go now.

I don't think the system you want to go with now is bad but there are always options to consider.

Not always but it's a good rule of thumb to give you an idea.

And the crx box is good for hatchbacks because it does that wall reflecting you were talking about.

the sub is facing up wards and the port is facing back towards the hatch. Different cars will work better with different boxes. Mine is in the trunk and gets louder subs forward port forward. But I am into spl and some like the way it sounds better when I turn it back towards the trunk.

Some suvs also like the crx style box.
