Help amp problem!!!

I have a ppi bk1800 wired to 1 ohm on my hdc3, and when my gain is all the way lowered it works but when I raise the gain theres no bass. Any ideas to what the problem could be?

Are you absolutely sure you have it all wired up to 1 ohm?

Yes I am sure, its dual 2 wired 1 ohm.

Dual 2 at one ohm? Correct me if I'm wrong but a single DVc sub with 2 ohm coils can only run 2 and .5 ohms

^^^I think that's for 2 DVC subs with 2 ohm coils. For a single, I believe you can wire it to 1 ohm or 4 ohms.

You're right. Sorry had a brain fart. It's been a long day at work. Did you check grounds?
