hey guys...my components just dont sound that great and I need some advice.
I have Fusion CM65's I bought from Team H&K.
Everyone that has wrote a review on them has loved them so I picked up a set.
Here is my problem. The music seems to sound like a big large squealing noise. Anything with a guitar sounds very high pitch and hurts my ears. Its hard to hear the rest of the music when there is almost a very loud ringing noise.
At first I thought it was my tweeters but its not. My tweeters sound great.
Also, my Alpine Type-S coaxles seemed to get louder unamped and sound better. When I say louder I dont mean "hurts my ears more" I meant, more difficult to talk over.
When my speakers finally start to hurt my ears, I can still speak over them to my passenger.
Maybe im not delivering enough power?? Maybe too much power?? The sounds that come from a lot of hip-hop/rap songs sound great but sometimes the speakers are very ear peircing.
I feel like I dont have something setup correctly.
Also, I feel like I can't turn the treble down on my head unit or else the vocals will fade but the harsh ear peircing sound is still there. My headunit is at +7 (max) currently, so I can hear the vocals.
If anyone has any help, i would greatly appreciate it.
