opinion on Alpine speakers

What kind of music do you listen to and what characteristics are you looking for (bright highs, strong midbass, clarity, etc)?

Do you have a sub stage already set up or planned? If so, what is it comprised of?

The Alpine "S" series are a nice sounding speaker.You would be getting a 6x9 and some 6.5's.I would reccomend that you give them some amplification.Alpine's smallest 4 channel would be just fine.Alpines 250 F or their new 300 F are around $150- $175. I ran some 'S's [4] & some components [ 'S']for a couple of years,powered by Alpines 450 F [f stands for 4 channel].I never blew them.The 450 F puts out 70 rms @ 4 ohms/100 rms @2 ohms.Take your time when adjusting your gains and crossovers.You will like them...Alpine50
