Now like im a total newb in the a area of car audio specs and what will go together and what wont

So please bare with me... im looking to get my first subs (yay me:) ) i will be using them mainly dubstep and trance and metal so i was thinking 2 10s since 12s will be overkill. i dont need the whole state hearing me. Well here goes i was looking at

MTX JackHammer JH4510-04

Now i have no clue really what to look for //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif But reviews are good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

So any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!! Also im thinking for a 1000w amp but i also dont know if that would be overkill for 2 10s. Thanks alot

You need: Amp wiring kit, Deck, Amp, 2 10's, sealed is going to be better for rock but its going to take alittle more power and ported is going to be better for dubstep if you like bass. I would look into some DC level 2's and an audiopipe 1500D for the amp. Look for around 2 gauge wiring and you need to know what deck size you need, single din or double din. Single dins are usually about 2-3" tall, double dins are about 6-7". The amp kit needs to have RCA's, REM, and your power and ground wire. Dont go with a four channel amp since your new I thought I would tell you that. Try to stick to class D. An audiopipe 1500 is about 150$, wiring kit is gonna be around 60-70 for a decent one, Deck is going to be unclassified, I cant tell you what you need for that because thats totally up to you what you want to spend on that. The subs will be about 145$ a peice. The box if you build will cost around 60 total, If you order one it will be about 90-120$. I may be missing something but this is the majority of it. The lvl 2's will be good entry setup for you.

Some will depending on what you get.

You really need to focus on the amp and sub(s) you would like to get. Then find the wire setup that will match. If you like dubstep I would go ported as it would yield the best result there and it will do fine with rock as well. Sealed will work as well if you are limited on space.

Once you have the sub(s), amp, and wire picked put then you can start thinking about an enclosure and which direction you like to go....all though you may want to do this while looking at subs so you ensure what you get will work well in your application.

i dont think i can find any dealers near me to buy dc subs from
If you do not have a dealer in your area they will allow you to buy direct. You could also look into Obsidian which has a great sub and a good price but they only offer then in 12s and 15s right now. However, you could just get one 12 and it would do great job as well.

Don't by prefab. What I would do is search your local craigslist for subs/box and amp. Heck, find the deck too. You will need to buy your accessories online though. For 420$ on craigslist I got 2 Eclipse TI's in a custom vented enclosure, and a kicker ZR1000 to power them. That's better then anything that has been listed so far. Just look man. I cam search for you when I'm slow at work, I work overnights and it gets dead!
