Help a new installer

I bought a schorch (sp?) wiring kit from wall mart. It is 1200 watt platnium series if that helps. I ran all the wires in my 91 lumina. I ran the power wire on one side of the car and the rca's and the remote on the other. This is going to be my first system and ive never seen what put in so im just going by what ive been reading on the forums. I have 2 type r 1242s in the mail as we speak they should be in the mail sometime this week. I also bought a directed 1100.1 and wire it at 1 ohm.

Yes ive looked at the jl and the rockford fosgate on what it looks like.

and the jl and rockford look different ? if im seeing it right

Theres to spots where it looks like one of the positves on the subwoofer tie in twice to the wire if you under stand what im saying and whats the best way for going about that?

How long of power cable from distro to amp?

And i just wanted to know any tips on setting this all up or anything that i might not think of doing that i should?

just run both positives together on the sub... then run a wire from one terminal to the box... then run a wire from the box to the amp... as long as all the positives are tied together it'll be ok... do the same for the negative... you could run a wire from each terminal to the box but that wouldn't help... don't leave too much slack in the power wire... leave a little bit of slack in case you ever have to move the amp... but dont' make the wire too long

It's schosche, dunno how anyone could fug that up.Too lazy to look up model numbers now, but if they're dual 4 ohm parallel to parallel on each sub, than to each other.

If they are dual 2 ohm you're ****ed.
