Hello all, awesome site here with tons of good information.

Maybe someone can shed a little light on my problem. I just installed a brand new JVC KD-G210 deck in my Jeep and CD's are unlistenable in this thing. They skip like crazy and it's driving me nuts. If I'm parked it's not too bad, but once I start driving 30+ mph forget about it. I used the proper dash kit etc. etc., it seems to be in there pretty good. Factory defect? Thanks for any help.

Maybe replace with one of the following....Pioneer, pioneer premier, alpine, eclipse

Hmm.. Is the HU itself loose/moving out of place? If not, I would say something is defective, contact JVC. That is an odd problem.

Do you have a warrantee on it?

The kit isn't a complete perfect match, but the HU is in there straight and pretty tight. If you put your finger under the unit and lift up you can flex it up a bit, but it's not loose or bouncing around on bumps. I thought JVC was half way decent, at least good enough to play my CD's without a problem.

Yeah, I got a four year warrantee w/ it. That shouldn't even come into play seeing as I bought it three days ago.
