Help a friend for me.....

Well a buddy of mine is having serious issues with his Sony CDX-M630. Playing cd's is turning into hell, they read and all but won't play sometimes. Also when they play they like cut out and come back numerous times during the songs. Even with new unscratched cd's. I have used a Air can to clean it out, and also used the Clean DR lens cleaner, still runs like crap. Any ideas? I mean he babys this thing and never has abused it at all.

xplod = xplod... but check your ground wire and 12+ on the harness... might be clipping if its not getting enough voltage or a good enough ground

The wiring is cool, the deck stays on and all that. It's just during play, almost like the cd is scratched to s###. Even when they are brand new... I was thinking it was dirty. I mean back when he bought it, it would read anything. Now its not working all that good.

So I pretty much say, that he needs something else? I told him buy the same Clarion that I got. Oh well, he is stubborn.... Hopefully I can talk some sense into him.
