Help 9800bt and Ipod

I have the 9800bt pioneer, and the cd-ib100II ipod adaptor.

I can not get the ipod to play. How do you do it? I have it all hooked up right.

i just installed my ipod adapter earlier this wk and everything went fine. when you connect the ipod to the white connector, does it say pioneer on the ipod? and when you switch from radio/cd on the pioneer does it recognize the ipod?

> make sure that you have the "ip" cable connected tightly in the adapter and the back of the 9800. also, make sure that you have the yellow wire connected to the correct wire labeled battery at the harness or directly connected to the battery. and make sure your ground is properly grounded.

>don't know if this will make a difference but make sure that you have the blue end of the "ip" cable connected to the back of the HU and the black end of the "ip" cable going to the adapter. just like on page 14 of the manual.

if that doesn't work, take it back and get another adapter........g-luck

what generation is your ipod? oh yeah..............reset, but don't erase your ipod. i had a problem yesterday, where my ipod just stopped playing, a quick reset and it cured my probs. i would do this first before i tried anything else.

I got it I had the fuse out of the adapter and forgot to reinstall
