Help, 6x9 Distortion

I have no clue what is making this sound but i'm guessing its my amp..

Not playing any music with my amp on then I get a loud HUMMING noise from the 6x9's

EDIT: The ground looks fine as far as i can tell but get this..

Trunk Open = No Noise... why?

ground problem, check the ground and try grounding the rcas.

I'll try that in the morning because i originally had a ground problem when it was first installed. could it be anything else?

you using a LOC? is the amp's light still on when the car is off? sounds like something is wrong

I just have the HIGH-Low converter which is located in the trunk by the 6x9's

No only when the keys are turned one notch to where the stereo is on.. that's when the amp light turns on

Get the power and ground away from the RCA's. Try to switch the rca's with the front RCA's and see if the hum goes to the front.

The hum is only coming from the 6x9's not the fronts. I unplugged the rca's from my amp and plugged them back no change.

My rca's are directly over the top of my bass knob line, is this the problem?

I don't believe so. the rca's are straight to the trunk with the high-low converter

so where does the power wire come from?

try grounding the rcas. (wrap a piece of wire around them, DO NOT jump your ground wire over to them)
