HELP 2002 BMW 330i

I drive a 2002 BMW 330i with the HK audio system, which sounds ok, but is not great. I want to do a few things.

First. I want to upgrage all the speakers, if I should. I have seen very cool sum options that are tailored for the car.

Second, I want to upgrade the head unit and add amps, but only if that will retain the ability to control the system from the steering wheel buttons. If that will not work than I will upgrade as I can, but while maintaining that control option.

Third, I really want to install SIRIUS radio, but do not like the options I have been afforded.

If anyone has any suggestions, or if I can pointed in the direction of where I can go, I would appreciate it.

I live in the L.A. area. If there is a store I should go to, please let me know.
