Help!!! 2001 Nissan Xterra Head Unit Problem...

I recently purchased a new head unit for my 2001 Nissan Xterra. I purchased a wiring harness for it as well. Put all the wires together, and plugged it in. Nothing comes on. There is another connector that was on the original 6 disc CD Changer, that the wiring harness I purchased doesn't have a place for it to go. There is only 2 wires on this connector, a Yellow with black dots and a yellow with red dots on it.

Please any helps is appreciated, in what is going on here, and what I can do to fix this problem.
