Help!? 2 Sundown E10's in ported or sealed for my application??

I currently have 2 sundown e10's in a custom built ported box with 2 total cubft after displacement/brace and tuned to 35hz. Pretty much to specs. I have a hatchback 06' vibe and I hate the acoustics in this car. I have all upgraded door speakers etc and a crossfire vr1000d @ 1 ohm on the subs. I also have a custom box sealed w/ 1.7 or so cubes. Which do you think for these subs would be a better application for me-I prefer more of a rumbling bass, but still clean. I heard this same setup in another hatchback and it sounded perfect, but I either can't get the tuning just right, or my car ***** horse ****. Anyone got any tuning tips for a hatchback where sq is everything?
