HELP!!!2 everlast MAXX ok???

I am wondering if using these 2 batts everlast maxx (875cca) is it ok to run one under the hood and one in the trunk??? and can i run power wire from a splitter that i run my amps from.also if this would help my voltage drop because im getting a 14.5 down to 11.5 drop at idle,I dont have all kinds of money to get an alternator or kinetics so will this help me out? these are plain jane wal mart batts that i have and want to utilize. any help would be greatly apreciated! thanks

what kind of car if the alt isnt all that strong it will help for a minute but whren voltage gets low then it will take a minute for it to come back up due to charging two low batterys best bet one optima yellow top under the hood, Also alts generally dont produce power at idle so 11.5 isnt really that bad.

its an 03 subaru wrx, and like i said i have no funds for anything else, im doing the big 3 and need to know if putting another batt in the trunk will help the voltage from dropping so quick....and help with my lights dimming etc... im running a mtx thunder 9500 12" and 1000 watts,

The second batt will help if you are seeing your headlights dim. But it will put more strain on your alt. Check your alt size and post back here. If it is too small then a second batt might not be a good idea.

You cannot put those batteries in the cabin of your vehicle. They are not sealed and will vent flammable gas that can explode. If you cannot afford the proper batteries, why did you spend your money on that big of a system to begin with. Proper audio systems are planned before anything is purchased. This includes having the proper electrical system to power the audio.

bet your *** ill still be bumpin planned out or not. Its not about the money, its about not being able to swallow on those deep bass hits. haha and my alternator is 75amps(boohoo) i can get an upgraded model from an STI thats 90 amps or next month i can get a "Maniac Alternator" as seen here :http://www.maniacelectricmotors.com/11058hiamp.html Thanks for tellin me i cant use that batt. UNLIKE the others here. So should i bring this battery back and get like an AGM motorcycle batt or something b/c i think thts all wal mart has for agm's. Im going to run 2 batts regardless with an isolator because i like playin horseshoes and stuff in the summer and i like to bump my system when the cars sitting with the doors all open and have bbq's etc. so that would help my batt from dying correct? I REALLY APRECIATE ALL THE ADVICE GUYS KEEP IT COMIN. constructive critisism is always good. btw ill post some pics up of my car and install later today for ya!

I second the isolator. If that is the case, you can use that battery for the under hood starting, then get the biggest AGM you can get for the trunk. Since you are isolating them, no need for them to match.

A motorcycle battery is quite small and probably would only help out a small system (250W ~ 300W).
