System advice

I need some advice with my system. Right now I'm running a jl 300/4 to power the front speakers, and have the rear channel bridged to an infinity perfect 12. It sounds pretty good, the woofer is clean and loud enough for me. There are large gaps in the sound, I'm definately missing rear fill as the rears are running off of the stock head unit.

I just found a really good deal on a two channel soundstream. My plan is to run the front components off of the soundstream, and have the jl 300/4 power the rear fills and be bridged to the sub. Should i wait and find a mono amp and run all of the speakers off the jl, or go with the soundstream?

This is about all I want to spend on my stereo for the moment besides sound deadening. I am under the impression that the soundstream will sound better than the jl for the front components, and i'm happy with the bass. What do you guys think?

when you say bridged, is your sub bridged to a 2 or 4 ohm load?

if its a 2 ohm load, definately get a monoblock. If its a 4 ohm load, you can get away with a 2channel amp bridged, which can sometimes be cheaper.

monoblock:

2ch amps:

I dont know what kind of power you need, but i personally would snag up the kenwood monoblock. Great amp for the cost.

I'm running one infinity perfect, online specs says it's 4 ohm. sorry im kinda a newb at this.

supergumby5000....then you heard boom from the amplifiers

I love that line
