Help!! '07 GTI or '05 325i

Remember the new GTI vs the new Eclipse thread...Well you guys convinced me to get the GTI so I went out and placed an order for a 2007 GTI which will arrive late August (hopefully). Well today, my dad threw a curveball at me and he said that he would rather get me a slightly used (2005) BMW 325i. BMW has always been my love but the GTI is fast and it is Niiiiiceeee. but it arrives in 2 months whereas I could get the Beemer this week.

So help me decide again guys, I really am confused. I like to drive fast and I am going to be commuting to LA a lot from San Francisco.

And reliability of cars is not an issue because the VW is warranted for 50,000 miles and the used Beemer will be completely warranted (everything and anything, even oil changes covered till 100,000 Miles)

I love BMW....

They are both extremley nice and they are both extremley fast. You maybe lookin' at a very small difference in speed between the two.

The BMW I think is nicer.....

that has to be a HUGE difference in price i'd imagine. I mean i see 02' 325's with 90k mile selling for 15k and GTI's are what 21k new?

I can get '07 GTI no options only the DSG ****** 24K out the door and thw 2005 325i for like 28K out the door

In my eyes the GTI is more aggressive looking and faster but the BMW has leather, prestige, and all that nice stuff, a decent amount of power and is bigger

Bumpin Blazer. My dad knows the sales manager at the dealership and he has bought his BMW's from that dealership as well so we get the 325 at the price the dealership buys it at. So basically we prosper and the dealership makes no money on car

We've got an 04 325 here...I absolutely love driving it...

I drive an 06 HHR, so it's not a piece of shit...but going from that to the BMW is such an ego booster...makes you feel so much better...sounds gay, but it's true lol.
