hellfire 2500.1 opinions

All right now I've read almost every thread on the dat hellfire 2500.1 I know that some of the production models had issues what was the issues that they had an are they worth buying for about $300. I'm looking for a new amp in the Hellfire popped up so I'm curious about it.

they were blowing from what i remember fairly easily, but IMHO, one of the sexiest looking amps ever. so simple but super clean, i was thinking about running one at one point.
