hei!i've put the wirings of the sub parallel..it's loud as hell,but it's still bridge on the ampli..the ampli says that it's only brigdeable at 4ohm..my sub is a dual 4,so when i use series wires,i get 8ohms..and it sucks..at 2ohms, the body of my Suv shake and make a lot of noises caused by frictioning of something,i don't know..

i'm just waiting the ampli to protect,or 2 get faulty..

my ported box(used w/ a keicker es previously)can hold it..the mdf in front vibrate and make noises..so i can't enjoy the break in..

i don't know if i'm smelling the sub burning or the ampli or the mdf..

this morning, i've took a look and tried it again..

w/ the engine on..

my 2.4 farads lanzar capacitor at first was good..the current was always bet. 10.2 and 12.5..suddenly,it dropped at 8..7..6.. and it turned off by itself,turning off my whole system..what that means?

i looked at my alty,and it's only 45~?or 65~..

this is my dad's vehicle,that's why i can't make modifications by myself w/o telling him..

but the system is mine,i brought it..

can you help me again by tell me bout HTZ,how to calculate it and how to tune a box to the deepest frequencies?thanx

Extremely difficult to understand your post. I will try and answer the questions I can.

1. Your car is making noises when shaking because it's shaking. Not friction.

2. MDF on your box should not be vibrating. You need to throw away that box and get a proper one.

3. If you're smelling anything burning it's a bad sign. Figure out what it is. MDF does not spontaneously combust. It's most likely the equipment.

4. Disconnect the cap. Your alt is probably breaking from the stress.

5. You will need a new higher output alternator. A 65 amp will not power any amp well enough.

Teaching you to design a speaker box would be difficult enough. Especially with the language barrier. I suggest you grab a design from the sticky of box plans.

i smelled the port of the box and i don't know if it smelled like burning,but the smell was not so good..

my box was repaired because they put a division(port)and replaced the front face with a new one eliminating the round hole of the previous sub and the other two(3.5 pvc pipes)..that's why the front is so loose..they didn't sealed it properly..

i'm going to build a new one..i think 6-7 cu.ft..

i want to get a deep bass..

bout the cap,earlier the minimum reading was 10.2..and the normal 12.5..it didn't happen again..

replacing the alty cost me a lot..i don't know the requirement of the ampli for the alternator..the car's battery is brand new..

how to tune a port to htz?or lower?how can i measure it?

the box was built w/ mdf..but the 2nd shop told me it wasn't mdf,and this type of wood have a strange smell..and every time we open this box,we can see the corner of the box w/ plenty of this type of wood pulverized..

they took advantage of me..

Yes. Your english and comprehension is not that good. I doubt I will be able to fully teach you how to design a ported enclosure. Try searching the web/forums.

Why would you open the box up, EVER?

Once it's sealed, leave it sealed, barring something unfortunate happening inside the box. You shouldn't be ABLE to open it.

yeah yeah..i talk like shit..if only i have guys like you here,who knows what to do first w/ the electrical and what system to buy..and how to get the best out of it..

there are good technicians here in the philippines,but not here in my province..

about a pair of ultra linear 10" 4ohm voice coil,if i parallel the wirings,will it get me 2ohms?

No. The bigger the box does not = better.

try to make it 8ft^3 after all displacement.

8 cubic feet after the subs are in the box. They take up space, so it cuts into the internal volume of the box
