I had some guy that I used to work with that would swear by those DUAL subs. I was like stfu. He thought they wre so muh better than JL, Kicker, RE, RF and so on and so forth

Little over a year ago, when my wife was deployed and the kids were away, I worked at a BB in SA, TX. In the install bay and up front. Some of the installers there know what they were doing, other.....well....just make sure you get the warrenty. I'm not saying I know half of what everyone on here knows, but there are deffinitly better places to get equipment installed. Up front wasn't to bad, the dual stuff sold pretty well, suprisingly. Everytime someone was looking at getting one, I tried talking them out of it. I can't even count how many HU and amps I replaced after only a few days sometimes. The best part was when someone came into the bay too have a sub or pair of speakers checked to see if they were blown and asked if they were not to blow'em. Happened about once a week.

I bought a pair of Dual 10" drivers for $15 to replace some blown drivers in a (really crappy) home system, mainly for TV watching.

After a week I was tired of them and determined I would get more satisfaction from watching them disintegrate than continue listening to them.

So i went to bestbuy to buy a cd and i hear this sub clipping like shit and i find out it's those retarded 2 Dual brand bandpass subs in that type of box, the bestbuy tech dude who was next to the kids i don't know how he could keep such a straight face hearin how shitty those sounded, to me they sounded like gaping farts then i went up to the amp it was playin and maxed the gain on it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif then put a song on and put it on "maximum volume" button thing and it sounded like shit still! the 2 sony's next to em sounded better then those DUlal pieces of shit.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

so let me get this straight.....you can HEAR clipping?????? holy ****.

and you maxed the gains, and hit max volume and EXPECTED THEM to sound better?
