Health and fitness

sure they do. i know of several, and i am subscribed to one's website. pros get their look through carb/water/sodium depletion for days before a show or photo shoot. they do have a low bf% as well. point is, everyone should get into living a healthy lifestyle
Oh, I'm sure you do. I'm sure you also believe that everyone in magazines is "all natural" and that supplements really work, right?

5% Is day-of-show. And even then it is maintained for hours at a time.

You have to understand the difference between having no water/estrogen in your system, and having low bodyfat percentage. And if you knew anything you'd know bodybuilders carb UP before they go on stage. Slin mang. Slin.

But yes, everyone should be healthy. I agree.

Wow, I am suprised al the troll attemps failed. My routine is pretty good for some one wanting to gain some muscle size fast and it works on a cut. My Numbers are kinda meh cause im cutting and hit a plateau. I now Run 2-3 miles 3 times a week also. Hoping to get down to that 150-159 range and then start to eat more and gain some easy muscle. My biggest problem is i was so fat that as i cut it is all disproportional so i look bigged then i am. Curently fit in to size m shirts and 34 pants. Started with xxl shirts and size 44 pants. I am doing it rightJust cut a little to fast at first.

For all the people complainign about diet look at my diet plan on the first page. Intermettiant fasting is legit and it fawking works wonder.

I feel like this thread is going to be filled with information people "think" is correct. Obviously this is not a fitness board so there are probably only a few qualified people to talk about training and whats good/bad. Everyone has their own routines and diets that work. No point in going back an forth about whats realistic and whats not.

Do what works for you, and your life style, if your big now you will be big later unless you change your lifestyle. There is no quick fix, no diet that will keep weight off.

Weight is a matter of Calories in vs Calories out. Theres no short cuts, no special diets, or routines.

Health and nutrition are a completely different topic.

Want some keys for weight loss

- 1lb of fat is roughly 3500 calories, reduce (or burn) 500 calories a day of your Base Metabolic Rate to lose 1lb of fat a week.

- Trying to burn to many calories to fast will throw your body in shock and mess with your metabolism preventing you of healthy weight loss

- It takes time, there is no short cuts

- Focus on your diet and exercise before resulting to supplements if you need to take stimulants to motivate you then go for it.

I have done IF for 6 weeks, the key is to control your insulin and also helps avoid snacking during your fasting period. It is the simplest way I have seen for someone new to control and monitor their calories and meals.

Only was a mod years ago. Haven't been on in like 8 years.
And dude, no. Pros get to 5% the day of a show. If someone says they are 5% they are lying.

Go ahead and believe that. I don't care. But walk up to a pro, or anyone that actually knows what the **** they are talking about, and they will laugh at you.

Yeah bro, I was agreeing with you. Still am.

And I thought you were still a mod only a few days ago? Maybe I'm just seein shit.

Diets aren't a good long term solution. You aren't going to stick to a diet forever and what happened when you get off of one? You gain the weight back.

It's as simple as watching portions, swapping out your regular foods with healthier versions ( 2% versus whole, whole grain versus white, etc... ) and not eating right before going to bed unless you're trying to gain mass.

I am qualified in fitness and nutrition.

For the most part, we are simply stating what has worked for us. Or at least I am.

Nah, my name was just orange from way-back when.

Then audioholic and omega bunny had a pissy fit that I was talking **** about MoT, and posting in the mod backroom and they asked me to change it.

Funny thing was as soon as the admin posted why he let old mods post in there, their tune changed entirely... not only that but MoT even commented (After I had been ragging on him-he knows I like him and he's a good guy) to lay off me and that its a right of old mods to be able to post.

Irony is those dudes have only been mods a month. I was a mod years and years ago and for a longer period of time. Funny how the new kids on the block always think they know whats up.

20% gym 80%diet

a good diet will beat any workout... not saying that you shouldnt workout

im in my young teens and its sad to see the population of my peers being overweight, and not caring about their health, and yet its even worse seeing your close freinds get out of shape.

fitness goes good with anything... im still in my "buck wild" stage if you willl.. lol its fun going to parties and having girls that you dont even know come up to you and admire you body.. not trying to sound like a alpha-male but its good motivation

whats even better though when your 15 and you can out lift, people in their 20's..

you got one body.. dont waste it

I have been doing it for about 6 months almost. it is so simple
