headunit wiring messing up lighting....

hey, with my current HU installed, my lights for my cluster (speedometer, fuel, tach) and my Air conditioner wont turn on... ive checked all fuses, they are all good. im starting to think that it could be the illumination wire that is causing the problems... im going to check into it tomorrow but what do you guys think?

thats what happened to me with my 4900ib i used to have..I couldnt wire the illumination wire to the harness because of it, i unplugged it and it was fine again.

well ****, that didnt work.... ok heres the deal:

from the harness from the car there are 2 orange wires (1 has black stripe, the other solid orange) that arent connected to anything.

then 1 orange wire from my CD player which isnt connected to anything.

i tried connecting every possible combination of the orange wires, and still have the same problem, i even tried grounding each of them... so what in the world is causing this?

hmm..you double checked your fuses?

is your light dimmer switch turned on?

ehhh... **** man idk... it worked fine when i had the stock HU in it, so it shouldnt be that, the cars pretty new...
